Nevada law requires drivers under the age of 18 holding an instructional Nevada learners permit to drive with an adult 21 years of age or older who has a valid Nevada driver license and is seated next to you at all times.

Permit drivers must complete 50 hours of in-car training (10 hours must be completed at night). You must keep a written log on the DMV approved form DLD-130 of the dates and times you performed in car training. Your parent or guardian must sign this form and submit it when you apply for a driver license.
